Mar 11, 2004 Worms 3D is a pretty good strategy game, but taking the game into full 3D seems to have actually detracted from some of the depth found in the 2D games.
Despite the fact that the environment is generated in 3D, the player, similarly to the previous installments in the series, retains his absolute freedom to reshape his environments, limited only by his wit. Each element of the surrounding can be destroyed in many ways. We can, for example, blast through an obstacle that blocks our path to the enemy, and then send him to his grave. Unique 3D engine that allows for full environment deformation. Unique atmosphere and humor known from the previous installments of the series, including the cartoonish graphics.
Changing weather conditions: wind, rain, snow, day and night cycle, etc. Wide array of available weapons.
Possibility of observing the battlefield through the eyes of a selected worm. Multiplayer via LAN or the Internet.
